OUTPUT DESIGN

One video, several ways to watch it.

Different players support different subtitle capabilities. The product should always give users a simple compatible file and a richer positioned file when they need it.

SRT

Universal subtitle file

  • Works with VLC, IINA, PotPlayer, and most desktop players
  • Pinyin and Hanzi appear as separate subtitle lines
  • Uses the original video filename automatically
ASS

Positioned learning subtitle

  • Pinyin is placed above each Hanzi character
  • Canvas presets cover landscape, square, social, and vertical video
  • Best for advanced players with ASS support
MP4

Future burn-in export

  • No external subtitle file required
  • Useful for mobile sharing and platforms without subtitle loading
  • Planned after the cloud processor is stable
CURRENT PREVIEW

English stays off the video by default.

Chinese learners can focus on Hanzi and pinyin first. Translation remains visible in the learning notes and can be toggled on as a hint.
