REFUND POLICY

Clear rules for digital subtitle processing.

SubChinese uses Paddle for paid subscriptions. This policy explains cancellations, duplicate charges, service failures, and the effect of processing minutes already used.

Free allowance

The Free plan is provided so you can test the workflow before paying. No payment is required for the included monthly minutes.

Subscriptions

Learner and Pro subscriptions are billed through Paddle according to the plan and billing interval selected at checkout. Annual plans are charged once for the displayed annual amount.

When a refund may be approved

We may approve a refund for a duplicate charge, an unauthorized charge, a billing error, or a material service failure that prevented the paid service from being used. Contact us promptly with the account email and Paddle transaction details.

Processed work and used minutes

A subscription is a digital service. Once processing minutes have been used or subtitle work has been generated, those completed services may be deducted from the refund amount or make that portion non-refundable, unless required otherwise by applicable law.

Cancellation

You can stop renewal through the available Paddle subscription management flow or by contacting us. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and does not automatically refund a period that has already started.

How to request help

Send an order or billing inquiry through the Contact page. Include the account email, transaction ID, plan, billing interval, and a short explanation. We normally review requests within five business days.

Legal rights

This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your place of residence. Paddle may also display its own checkout, tax, and payment terms during purchase.
